Wil Dedmon, CFA
Chief Investment Officer
Wil has two decades of experience in the investment industry, spending most of that time as a portfolio manager for high net worth individuals and institutions. He began his career at Sterne Agee as an investment analyst, serving on investment committees focusing on asset allocation models, manager due diligence, and quantitative risk analysis. Additionally, Wil served as the co-manager of several fundamental equity strategies and spearheaded innovative risk factor-based equity strategies that were utilized by trust and high net worth clients and attracted over $40 million in assets. Wil's incorporation of factor-based risk models was leveraged to create customized portfolios for large institutions seeking unique and customized investment objectives.
More recently, Wil spent several years at Regions Asset Management in an investment research role, supporting discretionary investment models and investment manager due diligence.
At Krowten Equities, Wil is the manager of all three concentrated equity strategies: Krowten Core Equity, Krowten Equity Income, and Krowten Leaders. Additionally, Wil offers comprehensive portfolio management and advisory services to clients.
Outside of the office, Wil is an active member of Samford University's Brock School of Business Board of Finance, Economics and Quantitative Analysis and the Board of Finance for the North Alabama Conference of the United Methodist Church. He has also served on several leadership boards at Trinity United Methodist Church. He and his wife Cristin have three children.
